We are a group of average people, residents of New York and other states across the USA who have decided that we've had enough; enough of inhaling carcinogenic elements in wood smoke produced by outdoor wood boilers, furnaces, wood stoves and fireplaces.  We'd prefer to inhale the natural elements found in clean fresh air and enjoy a healthy lifestyle.

The serious problems wood smoke causes is a global issue. You will find the signatures from residents of other countries who also face this frustrating and "over-heated" issue.  They have joined us. We'd be more than happy if you sign on too and become a part of our effort to urge public officials to regulate and if necessary impose wood smoke bans.

We don't want to take anyone's rights away, but we feel that our right to breathe clean smoke free air should and must preside over any right of someone who burns wood.

Although power lies within many voices, it takes but one to begin a change.
